Erin Engineering Company - History
The Erin Engineering Company was founded by Ricky Bartell in Green Bay, WI in 1993.
Mr. Bartell saw the need for straight forward engineering solutions and quickly became involved with the local paper and food processing industries. His early work developing high quality equipment per his customers specific requirements has followed him throughout his career.
In 1994 the Erin Engineering Company develop a new line of electrical motor powered automotive transmission testing equipment. This new type of dynamometer revolutionized the automotive transmission industry and received many innovation awards. The original design work is still used and manufactured today...25 years later!
In 2003 the Erin Engineering Company moved to it's current location just outside of Milwaukee in the beautiful Town of Erin near Holy Hill.
The Erin Engineering Company was then asked to develop a line of frictional material brake/clutch dynamometers and testing equipment. This engineering work led to 25 years of Research & Development in the Friction Material Industry.
Over the years the Erin Engineering Company continues to provide product development and design engineering on projects ranging from clutch components used on the USA Military's Boeing B-52 aircraft ...to high quality industrial brake designs used in the lawnmower industry.
